Clinical Educator 

POSITION SUMMARY

Collaborates with nursing management and staff across departments to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate and revise educational programming for all levels of nursing personnel and non-nursing personnel as indicated or requested. The incumbent acts as a key resource in the orientation and continuing education of nursing staff.

The Clinical Educator implements a comprehensive education program for his/her assigned units and clinics. Educational programs typically include, but are not limited to orientation, continuing education and in-services. Other services may include, but are not limited to process, performance and service-delivery consultation and contributions to the organization through ad-hoc or permanently established councils, committees and workgroups.

Program Assistance/Driver

POSITION SUMMARY

Assists with activities and programs of the Senior Day Center.  Provides personal care services including, toileting, bathing and nutrition programs.  Demonstrates use of appropriate interventions for well-being of frail, functionally and cognitively-impaired clients.  Transports clients to and from the senior day center, provides transportation for out-trips and to and from scheduled client appointments as assigned.

Our Nurses work in collaborative environments with strong interdisciplinary teams, focused on a patient centered care model in a richly diverse work space. Under the direction and general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the registered nurse utilizes evidence based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, policies and procedures of the hospital and as directed by the medical staff. The registered nurse who through knowledge and ability uses the nursing process to develop a plan of care which includes standards of practice to meet the physical, emotional spiritual, cultural and educational needs of the patient and family.
